Entertainment
Pepper Quartet
Formed in 2023 by Christina Buryak, Anjali Balan, Amelia Abedin, and Annie Liu. These four enthusiastic students have been working together on various classical repertoire, including music by Haydn, Mozart, and Vanhal. They have worked with their coach, Valerie Gordon, for just under a year. The Peppers have most recently participated in the Hamilton Music Festival, and continued on to the OMFA Provincial round, held in Burlington and Oakville.
Elixir Ensemble
Since 2010, Elixir Ensemble has strived to bring new life to music by serving up intoxicating programs that combine the lyrical with the virtuosic, and the well- known with the newly discovered. After being named one of the five finalists in the Early Music America Baroque Performance Competition, Elixir went through some updates and additions to their personnel, and has also operated as a historically informed string quartet, most recently participating in the Evolution of the String Quartet program in Banff, Alberta.
JustUs
With a passion for music and outreach after retirement, Enid Stronach, Tom Allen, Bill Raspberry, Mark Punga and Bill Wilson combined their talents to entertain and refresh memories of popular songs from their past. They perform at retirement homes and various events in and around our community and are delighted to be part of Music Magic in the Park.
